Connie graduated magna cum laude in 2000 from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a minor in Accounting. She attended the University of North Carolina School of Law on a full tuition merit-based scholarship, and graduated with her J.D. in 2003. During law school, she was Executive Editor of the North Carolina Banking Institute Journal, coordinator of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance group, a volunteer with the Pro Bono Program, and an active member of the Environmental Law Project. Following law school, Connie served as clerk to the Honorable Sanford L. Steelman, Jr., at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Connie joined our firm in 2004. She focuses her practice on real estate, personal injury and wrongful death law, general civil litigation and estate matters. She serves as city attorney for the City of Locust and college attorney for Stanly Community College.
Connie currently serves on the Scout Committee for Boy Scout Troop 82, the Board of Directors for Stanly Community Christian Ministries, and the Board of Directors for Sundays at Three. She also serves as Treasurer for the Stanly County Bar Association.
Connie is a native of Stanly County and resides in Albemarle with her partner, Jeff Mosher, and her son, Hunter Josey.
